Yearly Service Contracts
Preventive Maintenance is the most important and caring thing you could do for your home’s HVAC system. We have 1 Year Service Agreements available, as well as Custom Service Agreements upon request. The typical 1 Year Service Agreement includes 4 Preventative Maintenance visits per year, taking place at the beginning of each season.
Full System Replacement
The average lifespan of a healthy HVAC system is about 12 years, however, some HVAC systems can last longer if properly serviced routinely. If you have not been servicing your HVAC system regularly, it’s safe to say that your energy costs and comfort are most likely not where you would like them to be.
Energy Efficiency Auditing
Electric bills shouldn’t be a strain on your finances. If you’re noticing a spike in your utility bill, there is a good chance something is happening with your HVAC system. At Pilar Services, we are constantly researching new technology that will help bring down the cost of your comfort. Let our Certified Technicians offer their expert opinion today!

Condenser Fan Replacement
The fans in your Air Conditioning are the legs of your HVAC system…without them, cool air will never reach your living space. Cold air gets pushed from the condensing unit to the Air Handler thanks to the fans. On a hot summer day, the last thing you want to happen with your HVAC system is for the air to stop flowing.
HVAC Tune-Ups
Having a yearly Tune-Up of your HVAC system can result in better performance and lower energy costs. In fact, the energy cost savings that you will see from properly maintaining your HVAC unit can cover the cost of the Tune-Up entirely. Our Certified Technicians perform: Thermostat Tests, Lubrication for All Moving Parts, Electrical Connection Tightening, Controls Check, Coil Cleaning, Condensate Drain Flush, Air Filter Replacement, Refrigerant and Charge Check, Blower Motor and Belts Adjustment, and more.
Fan Motor Replacement
the Fan Motor is the heart of the HVAC system…and just like your heart, if it’s worked too hard it can break down. Fan motors can be replaced fairly quickly once identified as the problem. If you hear the outside condenser unit humming but the fans are not spinning, there’s a good chance the Fan Motor needs to be replaced.
CALL NOW to let Pilar Services save you thousands of dollars in future repairs by fine-tuning your HVAC system today!
Air Filter Replacement
Changing your Air Conditioning Air Filters is one of the most inexpensive ways to enhance your respiratory health. Standard, your HVAC system comes factory packaged with a generic industrial filter that is not suitable for everyday use in the home. If your HVAC system has not been serviced since installation, there is a very good chance you are breathing in harmful bacteria and pathogens. Air filters should be changed 4 times per year, about every 3 months. Pilar Services only uses the highest quality pleated filters on the market. We offer filter cleaning as well for different budget projects.
Coil Replacement
If you’re reading this, you probably haven’t been keeping up on the Preventative Maintenance for your HVAC unit. Our Certified HVAC Technicians can handle any Coil Replacement for any size unit, or manufacturer. Whether it’s the Evapoprator Coil located inside of the Air Handler, or the Condenser Coil located outside in the Condenser, Pilar Services has you covered.
Compressor Replacement
The outside Condenser unit plays a more vital role in cooling your home than the Air Handler inside your home does, due to the operation of the Compressor alone. The Compressor is responsible for pushing the refrigerant back to the evaporator coil to complete a perfect cycle of cooling within the HVAC system. With that being said, it is extremely important to maintain adequate levels of refrigerant to prevent the Compressor from breaking down. Only a Certified Technician should service your Compressor, and by scheduling Preventative Maintenance with Pilar Services today, you can rest assure your investment is protected.

Air Handler Replacement
The Air Handler is the unit located inside of your domicile, while the Condenser unit is located outside. At Pilar Services, we pride ourselves on the business relationships we have forged with industry leaders like Carrier, Trane, and Rheem. There is no job too big, small, or challenging for our Technicians. When it comes to choosing the right HVAC system for your home, our qualified sales team can help you make the right decision.
Leak Search
Most of the time when there is a problem with your HVAC system, a simple part replacement will fix the issue. For those other not so simple times, a Leak Search is required on your Refrigerant Line. Our Certified Technicians have different methods of detecting the leak, but unfortunately, this is not a quick process and might have to be done in multiple steps.
Refrigerant Line Replacement and Repair
Copper refrigerant lines play an essential role in air conditioning systems. They are responsible for carrying the refrigerant between the condensing unit and the evaporator coil. It is highly recommended to replace this line whenever upgrading, or replacing your HVAC system. While it might be tempting to reuse the existing line to save a few bucks, it will only cost you more money in the end from complete system malfunctions. Our Certified Technicians can test this line for leaks as well as make appropriate repairs.

Liquid Line Drier Replacement
This device plays an important role in the filtration of your HVAC system. Also known as Filter Driers, they are usually installed in the Liquid Line of a dry-expansion refrigeration system, where they have a dual function. First, they trap coarse particulate contamination and copper shavings, and second, they capture any moisture present in the system. Anytime an HVAC system is opened, this unit needs to be replaced to avoid contamination of your air space.
Air Balance Test
Air balancing is the process of optimizing an HVAC system to ensure that air conditioning outputs are consistent, and temperatures are comfortable in all rooms of the house or building. If you’re having an issue with some rooms getting colder than others, an Air Balance test can identify the source of the problem. Some of the most common problems an Air Balance Test can find are including but not limited to: Damaged or perforated air ducts, Loose Duct Joints, Blockages, Undersized Ducts, Excessively Long Duct Work, and Duct Work with Sharp Turns.
Thermostat Replacement and Calibration
Broken thermostats and outdated thermostats alike can be replaced and updated with new digital or smart thermostats. Pilar Services offers a wide variety of replacement thermostats from conventional to programable smart thermostats. Please see our Future Technologies Page for more ideas…we also take special requests.
Also, if you are starting to get the feeling that the temperature readings are inaccurate, our certified technicians can recalibrate your existing thermostat.
Duct Work
From patching holes in existing HVAC ductwork, to new installations…there is no space too tight for Pilar Services. There are 4 main types of ducts that we specialize in; Sheet Metal, Fiberboard, Fiberglass, and Flexible Duct. Fiberboard and Flexible Duct are the most common Duct Work found in a home.
UV Lights
For over 100 years, UV lights have been proven to kill mold, viruses, and bacteria. In 1903, Niels Finsen was given the Noble Prize in Medicine for using UV to effectively treat patients with skin infections. Today, UVs are used in Hospitals, Restaurants and Grocery Stores alike, to prevent infection by inhibiting the growth or action of microorganisms. In other words, UV lights can be used as a disinfectant for your HVAC system. In fact, the CDC has released a statement “Vaporous hydrogen peroxide, ultraviolet germicidal irradiation, and moist heat are the most promising decontamination methods” for combating the Human Coronavirus (COVID-19). Call Now to see if our Certified Technicians can service and install UV in your home today.
Drain Flush
Like any drain, HVAC Drain Lines can become clogged and will require to be flushed out. There are multiple methods for cleaning the Drain Line and depending on the severity of the clog, our Certified Technicians will take appropriate action to clear whatever is preventing passage.
Drain Line Rerouting
Whether your Air Conditioning Drain Line is PVC or Copper, Pilar Services can reroute the Drain Line to facilitate any remodeling or construction requirement that may arise. The Drain Line runs from the Air Handler inside your home, to the Condenser unit outside of your home, giving an exit for unwanted moisture and humidity.
Allergy & Odor Air Purification & Filtration
Unwanted seasonal allergies can wreak havoc on your immune system and breathing quality. Pilar Services offers a variety of methods to combat contaminated air space. We also offer methods to deodorize your home through proper ventilation and cleansing of your HVAC system. For more sensitive applications concerning the Human Corona Virus (COVID-19), we have adopted new technologies utilizing Needle Point Bipolar Ionization.
